Duties and Functions of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force).

  1. General Administration & Co-ordination of all wings of the Kerala Forest Department.
  2. All establishment matters relating to members of IFS.
  3. Oversee the functions of Vigilance Wing, Protection Wing, EFL, Eco-development and Tribal Welfare
  4. All policy matters.
  5. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests shall have powers to assign any other function to any of the Chief Conservators of Forests as and when it becomes necessary.
